| Government
training: Building an effective
lobbying strategy
Good governance will
create a strong climate for foreign domestic
investment through public-private sector
partnerships. Developing and leveraging
these partnerships is the key to unlocking
development in Cameroon. Projects in Cameroon
are underway at the national, regional
and international levels that require
such cooperation to fully develop.
The goal of this program is to help foster
these partnerships by training the policy
makers/deputies on how their policies
affect the business climate. It is also
aimed at creating an effective lobbying
strategy at both the local, national and
international level that will help them
better "sell
your country and its projects to the international
community". Participants
will learn practical and effective strategies
that will enable them to accomplish this
mission.
Through presentations, case studies, and
on-site meetings with leading public and
private experts, participants will gain
useful tips and strategies on how to build
an effective lobbying strategy.
