These native professionals also contribute to the overall transfer of skills and technologies, and building of capacity for African and international enterprises operating on the continent. AfricSearch has several offices throughout Africa. Our rapid growth has been fueled by a track record of successfully meeting the expectations of clients.

International Private Infrastructure
Association (IPIA)
The IPIA is a newly established trade association
formed from a revival of the highly effective International Private
Energy Association (IPEA) of the 90’s and as a complement to the
International Private Water Association (IPWA). The impetus for
forming IPIA is the $60 billion plus decline since 1997 in annual
private capital invested in developing economy infrastructure.
Missions:
-
To serve as the spokes-organization for private
infrastructure and as an umbrella association to unite the varied
associations and agencies concerned with private investment and
public private partnerships in developing economies.
-
To develop and advocate macro solutions and new
models for financing private infrastructure.
-
To organize country or region focused coalitions
to address local development and financing barriers and facilitate
the adoption of investment promoting policies.
Corporate Council on Africa
The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), established
in 1993, is at the forefront of strengthening and facilitating the
commercial relationship between the United States and the African
continent. CCA works closely with governments, multilateral groups
and business to improve the African continent's trade and investment
climate, and to raise the profile of Africa in the US business
community.
CCA members believe that Africa's future success
depends upon the ability of its entrepreneurs and business people to
create and retain wealth through private enterprise. American
corporations and private individuals can contribute most effectively
by building partnership and reaching out to the African private
sector in the areas that America knows best: private enterprise,
investment capital, technology transfer and management.
CCA programs are designed to bring together
potential business partners and raise Africa's investment profile in
the US by developing critical contacts and business relationships
and providing a forum for the exchange of information and ideas.
