Njikwa Student Union
The AiC is working with the Royal Development Group, an NGO based in
Cameroon in building a Student Union in the village of Njkiwa
located in the Northwest Province. The Njikwa Student Union will
offer activities, programs, and services designed to promote and
enhance the growth and development of elementary, high school and
college students, by installing a sense of belonging, competence,
usefulness, and influence all while having fun.
We hope to accomplish this goal by establishing a Student Union
centrally located in Njikwa, which is surrounded by 4 schools. This
location will give the students of these schools, accessibility to
services in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. It will also be
a place where a student, instead of going home to an empty house has
opportunities to spend several hours socializing, studying, or
becoming involved in a developmental or professional program, all in
a safe, supervised environment.
