The African Leadership Program
To The African Executive Leader:
The emergence of Africa as a key player in the global market is eminent. According to research from the Corporate Counsel on Africa, foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows into Africa almost doubled from $9 Billion in 2000 to more than $17 Billion in 2001 with a 30-40% ROI. This growth has created a demand for seasoned managers and Executives with a clear vision of the future and an ability to lead and motivate people. Sustaining and maintaining the level of development from these investments is just as crucial as the investments themselves.
The African Investment Corporation would like to thank you for the opportunity to present a new program called the African Senior Executive Program. This is a certified program taught by Georgetown University, recognized by the US Government, and equally accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). The program is built upon the AiC’s fifty years of leadership and experience in the global marketplace and coupled with Georgetown’s renowned faculty.
The primary objective of the program is to equip African leaders in both the government and private sector with the tools needed to address, lead and manage change. This goal is accomplished by identifying African leaders who are committed to creating a productive environment to discuss and address the challenges of the 21st Century.
Leaders from around Africa will be solicited for participation. This program will be run in 2 sessions; the 1st session will run from May 24th - 29th, the second session will run from June 7th-12th. Please indicate your interest in either of these dates.
